The answer depends on several factors, but on average, you should get your carpet cleaned every 8-12 months. We recommend:

Children and pets = carpet cleaned every 6-8 months.

Asthma or allergies = carpet cleaned every 4-6 months.

Some areas of your house have less traffic and soil than others. As you plan to get your carpet cleaned, assess what areas may or may not need to be included, for instance the carpet in a guest room needs cleaning less often than the carpet in your kids rooms.

Daily vacuuming will add to the life of your carpet, but won't get 100% of the soil, dust, dander, and microscopic dirt embedded in your carpet.
